Description:
BOW'T TRAIL is an international project recognized by the UNESCO Slave Route Label. It is an innovative choreographic, documentary, and interactive experience that traces the evolution of African cultures and rhythms, shaped by the resistance movements of deported African peoples across the Americas. Through powerful storytelling and artistic expression, the project highlights the resilience and enduring cultural influence of African heritage.
By 2019, BOW'T TRAIL had been implemented in five countries across the Americas, with its rich content shared in both live scenic performances and digital formats. Designed to engage both the general public and educational communities, the project serves as a bridge between history and contemporary culture, fostering awareness and dialogue about the legacies of the African diaspora.
